31 and its accompanying memory
Number
31, You're So Fine by the Falcons, doesn't necessarily bring up a special
memory. But to me, it is the poster child of Rock and Roll, Rythym and Blues,
Soul, 50's kind of musical revolution that was going on at that time. I just
can't sit still when I hear this song. The body simply starts to sway left
and right with the smooth tones of the song. I'm not sure the Falcons ever
had another hit but this was sure a biggie with me. I still play it often
today, especially when I get into one of my melancholy moods and start playing
all my songs of the past. When people say, "Back in the days," this
is the music they are talking about. Or maybe I just wanted some foxy lady
to come up to me and tell me "You're So Fine?" Sorry folks. lol.
That never happened. Although one lady I know will say it was my own fault...lol.
Enjoy the sound that makes folks say the Oldies were the Goodies.
